Important Catalog Updates
As we continue to share our efforts to deliver a clear, simple brand experience with OFS and Carolina, we our updating our services, programs and processes including our specification resources.
We distilled down OFS, First Office, Loewenstein and Highmark to just OFS for a single brand experience to serve workplace, education and hospitality markets. We kept Carolina as our brand dedicated to creating solutions for the healthcare industry.
Effective Monday, June 11th we will be updating our manufacturer and catalog codes to better support our effort in simplifying your experience with OFS.
At the end of this page is a list of what is changing with the OFS Manufacturer and Catalog Codes in relation to specification resources. Depending on what spec tool platform and DBOS system you use there will be some codes that you need to update on your end.
With the changes we also had some part number conversions as well. The steps below take you through the conversion of these parts, and then the MFG code change process for your drawing. Please note that the following example shows FOF to OFS changes, however this is the same process for all catalog MFG code changes.
Steps for changing MFG codes:
If the product numbers and catalog codes aren’t changing, just use “Edit”, “Assign” in Worksheet as shown below. You can change the manufacturer code in Worksheet using this method.
Old manufacturer code FOF
Step 1: Under Edit select Assign. Select Mfg and type OFS (or CAR if changing to Carolina) into Assign Value.
Step 2: Click on OK.
